This is the Earwig I worked on for the short film production Accidents, Blunders and Calamities.

I created the base model for this asset which then got handed off to other team members to be rigged, shaded, etc.

I created the base model in Maya which I then took into Zbrush and sculpted out the shapes and forms better. I then took it back into Maya and retopologized the various parts. I focused mainly on the shell sections as individual parts as this particular asset was going to be exploded via a simulation.
